Bromsgrove Project

Situated on a new build estate in Bromsgrove the client had given the designer a brief for a modern garden with space for entertaining but also to have privacy from the neighbouring properties.

The garden featured a large sawn sandstone paved area at the back of the house with a smaller patio for a bench. The larger patio area was broken up by introducing blocks of clay pavers to provide a different texture. Slatted Cedar screening was incorporated to screen the shed and a Cedar pergola was used to add height and create privacy.

Pleached Hornbeams were introduced along the rear and left side boundary to provide more privacy and block out the neighbouring windows. The planting consisted of a mixture of herbaceous perennials and grasses to follow the modern theme including Nepeta, Aster, Heuchera, Verbena and Stipa.

The project was designed by Hannah Genders and built by Design It Landscapes.
