Garden Design

At Design It Landscapes we can transform your outdoor space into your dream garden, whatever the size and style.

After your initial enquiry you will be sent a questionnaire, which will enable us to get an idea of your requirements. We will then arrange a consultation at your home. At this stage we will discuss your budget for the project. After our initial visit we will provide you with a written design brief and quotation for the design process.

All of our designs are developed to the individual clients’ requirements and our design process can consist of various services

Site Survey

We will meet on site and take full measurements of the garden, which then is drawn to scale and acts as a base plan for the design process.

Topographical Surveys

For larger or more complicated projects we will require a topographical survey. These surveys would be outsourced to a land surveyor.

Concept Design

A scaled concept drawing will be produced to meet the design brief. The concept drawing will indicate the garden layout of hard and soft landscaping areas. The drawing will be presented to you and we will discuss and make any revisions as necessary.

Masterplan

After the presentation and feedback from the concept phase, a scaled, fully annotated master plan is produced in colour that shows proposed materials, focal points and other elements of significance to the design.
